Apartment Matijašić

Charming rustic apartment in converted old stone building at a vineyard and olive farm. It was full of character with antique furniture and the outside area had a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. The owners showed us the grape vines and the wine making equipment. The children enjoyed seeing the animals and playing on the giant swing. We were served delicious homemade food, including cured meats made on site and wine and olive oil from the vineyard. Would definitely recommend.

While generally clean, due to the nature of the building, there was a small amount of dust and cobwebs. For us, this was far outweighed by the fact we were staying in such an interesting old building, with a wonderful view.

Remote location, perfect if you want to wind down for a couple of days with family or friends or even for couples or alone. Spacious terrace with outdoor seating and BBQ area. This is a big vineyard and vinery, there are farm animals (rabbits, goat, donkey, pigs, chicken, ducks, cats) and wild ones too (frogs, birds) so city kids will have a blast, haha. There is also a small playground with swings and trampoline for the kids and big grassy areas to play sports. Also you can find a small lake (nice path to walk around it) and you can use a paddle boat too. There is a lot to explore nearby and the coast is also just a 40 mins drive. A scenic road takes you just above a reservoir nearby, breathtaking views! The family who run the place lives and works here so they are available whenvever you need anything. They treat their guests great and go the extra mile as we also received delicous home grown/made stuff from them.

For the kids the WIFI signal strength... as parents we were actually happy with the lack of WIFI and cell coverage :)))) just bring some board and card games and all will be fine.

Kdo chce zažít autentické bydlení uprostřed Istrie tak vřele doporučuji. Ubytování u vinařů cítily jsme je jako doma skvěle se o nás starali. Možnost ochutnávky jejich vím. Mají spoustu zvířat takže děti byli nadšené mohli i krmit zvířat s pani majitelkou a vysloužily si domácí vajíčka.😁 Naprostý klid a relaxace.
