HILL Of SAN PIETRO

The owner met us on arrival, even though we were a bit late. He showed us the whole property and explained everything and gave us lots of useful tips for our stay. A wonderful welcome!! The villa is fantastic! Everything you might need is inside, it is clear that it is also in personal use, as all the kitchen items, washing machine, towels, etc. are great quality! There is a lush green garden with a range of beautiful flowers. It is in shade most of the time so a great place to retreat from the heat. But what stole our hearts was the rooftop terrace. We loved our breakfasts with ocean views and watching the sunset up there. It was so serene and beautiful, we almost didn’t want to go out :). The surroundings are rural, the only sounds are cows, goats and birds. Our 5 year old absolutely loved the neighbours two goats which we saw everyday on the walk to the beach. A cow visited us once and it was very friendly. The beach is 10-15 mins easy walk away and at the time of our visit (late may-early June) it was pretty empty. We were able to bring our two dogs there to play without disturbing anyone. Cape Rodon is close by and so are many seafood restaurants.

Nothing- it was absolutely perfect!

We loved the accommodation which is a bit quirky but fulfilled all our needs. They provided all you needed in the accommodation. Access to the top area gave wonderful views of the surrounding areas. The beach is about 15 minutes away (stop off at the fast food/shop/bar which is very friendly). We especially appreciated the help of the person managing the properity who picked us up at the airport and organised taxis for our day visits to Kruja, Duka wineyard and Tirana. Overall we found the Albanian people very friendly and the views stunning.
