Stayed previously with my wife, this time with my son who was on a course.so he got the air mattress, he reckoned that was better than staying at a motel.
Very tranquil setting removed from Paraparaumu but close enough.
Has all the facilities you need, though a comfortable chair or sofa would be beneficial to us older persons.

Private location with great outlook.
Very good shower and all the facilities you're likely to need including a cook top.
You are quite secluded though close enough to everything.
Access from parking to cottage bit marginal when wet and dark, no defined path.
Being older, probably some more comfortable seating than the sofa/spare bed.
