Villa Azul - Pool, Garden, BBQ

I recently stayed at this fantastic villa and I can't recommend it enough. The hosting team were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist us. They provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which greatly enhanced our experience. The villa was impeccably clean, which made us feel very comfortable. The location is absolutely fantastic with a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation but a short distance to beach bars and the great beaches. The outdoor area, especially the pool, was a highlight. We spent many hours enjoying the sun, and the terrace was perfect for watching the sunset. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we can't wait to return. This villa is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Where do I start? Wow, this villa is absolutely stunning! I just spent the best time here, and it was amazing. The place was spotless clean and had everything you need. Staying at Villa Azul was a pleasure in such a beautiful location. I will definitely be returning! Not to mention the warm welcome from hosting team 😊

Nothing negative to mention

The idyllic feeling and the beautiful accommodation in a fantastic environment. The hosting team is very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is super nice and clean and has all the amenities. Pool area fantastic.

Everything was perfect

Excellent management. Avraam and the halkidikibnb team were fast, courteous and genuinely solution-oriented - everything we raised, including a clogged bathroom, non-working lights, etc. was dealt with quickly and without argument. The grounds are the best part of the property: lawn, palms and mature planting, all well kept, with a good pool, garden and BBQ that worked well for a group. Wine and water on arrival were a nice touch. For one or two families this would be a comfortable base.

We were three families - 6 adults, 5 children - for 9 nights, so we used the house at full occupancy. Two things we'd have wanted to know beforehand. The bedrooms don't match the listing. One "bedroom" is a converted pass-through space between two other rooms, with no real privacy for whoever sleeps there. Another has an undersized bed no adult in our group could use. The lower-level room has no window - you have to leave the door open for air. The villa faces a main road! Really watch out with this one!!! Traffic is audible in the bedrooms day and night and doesn't stop overnight. Something which all the images omit on purpose and do not mention in the description. Smaller points: you need a car for everything. The kitchen is under-equipped for the stated occupancy - clearly too few glasses and cups for 11 people, despite a dishwasher. Toiletries, laundry and washing products were limited, no coffee. The pool stained all out clothes and swimming suits yellow and didn't wash out - not sure what is used for maintenance in terms of chemicals but it drives a strong reaction with your clothes. At full occupancy the house works, but only on compromises, and at roughly €8,000 for 9 nights we'd have priced that in.
