Clean, quiet, well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable beds. A lot of animals nearby 😌

No electricity for few hours in the afternoon. The shower needs fixing: water is going everywhere around.

It was beautiful, spotless and a perfect stay for a weekend (or longer) lots of wildlife. It was incredible and we will definitely be back.

Overall, the property has potential, and the pool water was clean, but there are several maintenance and communication issues that need attention. Most importantly, any additional costs, such as electricity for the air conditioner, and important house rules should be clearly disclosed at the time of booking rather than communicated only shortly before arrival.

I was disappointed with several aspects of our stay. Firstly, we were informed that we had to purchase electricity in order to use the air conditioner. When we asked the host why we were expected to pay extra for electricity to use the air conditioner when we had already paid for our accommodation, the host was quite rude. She explained that this information was supposedly included in the property description on Booking.com, but we could not find any such information. We had to contact Booking.com directly for clarification and were prepared to request a refund if this was indeed an undisclosed additional cost. After the call with Booking.com, the host became somewhat more friendly. We had made our booking three weeks in advance, but only received the property’s detailed do’s and don’ts one day before our arrival. This was concerning because, by that stage, it was too late to cancel the booking and receive a full refund. I feel that important rules and additional costs should be clearly communicated at the time of booking so that guests can make informed decisions. Another inconvenience was being informed that we needed to bring our own pool towels. We travelled from Johannesburg to Limpopo a day before our check-in, and by the time we received this information, we were already on our way. We then had to travel to Mpumalanga the following day, making it difficult to accommodate this last-minute request. The pool water itself was clean, which was appreciated, but the pool and surrounding area need some maintenance. The paint inside the pool has chipped significantly, exposing the cement underneath. The outside of the pool could also benefit from a fresh coat of paint and some general maintenance. Unfortunately, the sitting-room roof was leaking during our stay, which made us uncomfortable. We had to place a bowl inside the house to collect the water from the leak. This is something that should be addressed, as it affects the comfort and overall experience of gue
