I appreciated Barend contacting me about the property before we left, seeing as they had floods in the area, and his advice us to us to travel in our 4x4, which was a great help.
It rained a lot but was also very humid so we really appreciated the aircon and the darkness at night - great for a good sleep. We were very grateful to use the pool after our long walk around the area, finding birds and animals.
The kitchen was also well equipped, which was much appreciated.
A couple of the kitchen utensils and crockery (not all) could have been cleaned better. The rest of the house was very clean and tidy.
It was quite difficult to open the security door with the way in which the back door is designed. We had some problems with ants and there was a small leak in the kitchen area - but there was a ton of rain, so it was most likely due to weather conditions and probably is not the norm.
