Extremely disappointing and unsafe: Active construction site

Extremely disappointing and unsafe: Active construction site. We were forced to abandon our stay immediately upon arrival because the building turned out to be an active, hazardous construction zone. It was a deeply distressing experience for our family. Walking into the building with our two children, we were absolutely shocked. Workers were actively painting on ladders right in the narrow hallways. The air was heavy with construction dust and overwhelming, toxic paint fumes. What was truly alarming, however, was the complete lack of basic safety measures. There were no warning signs anywhere, and exposed live electrical wires were simply hanging in the common areas. The environment was so uncontrolled that just trying to reach our apartment door resulted in my child's jacket being ruined by wet paint. It was incredibly stressful. We realized we couldn't safely breathe the air, let alone stay the night, so we had to urgently evacuate our kids and find another hotel at our own expense. What makes this so upsetting is that we called beforehand to ask about the conditions, and were explicitly assured that there was no construction and the property was perfectly safe. Deliberately bringing guests — especially children — into such a dusty, unfinished, and hazardous environment shows a profound disregard for human health. I strongly urge other families to look elsewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay in maison galante’s, the location was amazing , the apartment was well equipped, very clean and cosy, madam selvi was very polite and friendly, there is construction going on but it was not noisy, definitely i will come back to this gorgeous apartment.

Loved the location, the place, and the super kind staff!

We liked the location — close to everything and within walking distance — the facilities, and the kindness of the staff, especially Silvie.

We didn’t love the noise and dust from the nearby construction — or the fact that the hot water decided to give up halfway through the third person’s shower!

The room looks just like the pictures. It was very comfortable, modern and had all the facilities you may need. The best aspect of the place is the location. It is located in a very great neighborhood, close to all the historic tourist spots. I would like to highlight Sylvie, who handled the check-in and check-out. She was very polite, helpful and kind throughout our stay. I highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyable, clean, safe and family friendly .

The rooms were exactly how you’d see them in pictures, clean and very modern interior with a touch of Parisian style. Very comfortable and the kids and myself enjoyed it very well.

The entry staircase always dark and had a musty smell the loft being really small for a family with luggage but it takes 2 mins to get to your room so the room makes up for it.

I am very particular about cleanliness and organisation and this apartment exceeded my expectations! It was not only stunning in terms of the interior but also including furniture, to bedding etc - it was clean and felt good to be in. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here - and not to mention the staff was always responsive and caring! It is only a 10 minutes walk from Opera - I look forward to seeing you again !

Beautiful place with great location

Spacious, modern, good location, just as in the pictures. Very responsive.

They block a €1000 damage deposit on your credit card, but there was no inventory or list of existing damages, so I felt I had to check the whole apartment myself—kind of like renting a car. I did notice a few minor issues: two broken lights, a stained carpet, and some flaking on the bathroom cupboard. I’d recommend taking pictures and informing the host right away, just to be safe. That said, the apartment was beautiful and these small flaws didn’t affect the overall experience.

Great location, nice apartment, terrible building and unhelpfull staff

Great and safe location in the city centre. I stayed in a small one-bedroom apartment on the fourth floor. The apartment was really nice, clean, and I think I was the first one using some of equipment there.

The whole building was currently (mid of September 2024) under a complete reconstruction. During working days, a front door was often opened and the building was full of workers which basically meant that anyone could get into the building. The place was very noisy even over weekend because the reconstruction was underway. Stairs and the only one elevator were dusty and covered by plastic. One day, the apartment was even full of dust because of the reconstruction. The worst part of my staying was that heating did not work, it was 19C or less the whole time of my stay even when I set up the whole heating system. The heating system was probably not turned on centrally. And water was also stopped one day. There was no staff on location, all communication was through their mobile application or calls. I asked for help but nobody was willing to solve the issue. The same unwillingness to help was with TV which was not working too. When I was getting ready to leave on a last day, somebody opened a door of my apartment that I was staying in even though I texted the staff approximate time of my leaving. I subsequently asked for a discount for letting me stay under such conditions and the only answer I received was that my message was postponed to a manager.

Zusammengefasst hat uns die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen und wir würden mit dem jetztigen Wissen definitiv wieder buchen

Uns hat die Unterkunft wirklich sehr gut gefallen, das Zimmer war zwar klein aber gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und auch die Kommunikation mit dem Personal hat super verlässlich funktioniert. Wir durften auch früher einchecken als 15:00 Uhr. Die Lage war sehr gut mit einer U-Bahn in der nähe.

Das es eine Baustelle gibt stimmt durchaus. Soweit wir das aber erkannt haben hat das vorallem das Nebengebäude betroffen (in unserem wurde nur das Stiegenhaus gestrichen und Elektronik installiert). Wir persönlich haben es nicht wirklich als störend empfunden, da der der Lärm erst ab 8 in der Früh begonnen hat. Und wir da dann eh schon wach waren und uns auf den Weg gemacht haben. Die Abende und Nächte waren immer ruhig.

كل شي لم يعجبني اولا وقت الاستقبال كان الساعه 3 وصلت 3 وربع لم اجد احد باستقبالي غير هذا ان المبنى قيد الانشاء وكان كله صبغ وعمال يشتغلون وانا عندي مشاكل بالصدر تاذيت جا وكان عمال التركيب والصبغ في كل مكان غير انهم غيرو حجزي وقالولي لغرفه مشابهه وكانت الغرفه ابدا مو مشابهه وانا حجزي لغرفه تطل عالشارع وكان فيها شغل للحين ما خلصت ولما كلمتهم شنو هذا يهددوني يطردوني وطلعت وحجزت فندق ثاني تحت الضغط

O serviço de apoio podia estar melhor organizado. Quando chegámos o código de acesso ainda não havia sido ativado pelo que foi necessário telefonar para resolver o problema. Informaram que estaria alguém para nos receber, o que não foi o caso. O edifício ainda se encontra em obras, havendo materiais de construção no pátio interior e zonas comuns por acabar.
