Amazing experience, the site is extremely clean and very spacey. The host couldn’t do enough. The bed was extremely comfortable and met all my expectations. It’s also a very fair price.

Perhaps some ice packs couldn’t find any

I was travelling on foot and camping wasn't my preferred choice of overnight stop. Although I have camped before, on this occasion I wasn't geared up for there being no electric power or lighting and for the walk to the showers and toilets carrying a towel and sponge bag. However, the bell tent was large enough and bug-free, the bed comfortable, fully equipped as advertised, and as a bonus the night sky at 2am was clearer than I have seen for quite a few years! The campsite was quiet and not crowded; the few people I spoke to all said it was a good place to camp.

I felt £85.50 was expensive for an overnight stop in a bell tent on a campsite, with of course no breakfast included. On this four-night visit to the Devon coast this was the second most expensive overnight. The other three were all B&B and included breakfast in their prices.
