Charming Flat with Balcony near Tower Bridge

Location good but at least 20 minutes walk to any station. Flat quite well equipped and clean.

Main problem is only 1 key supplied and they refused to provide another for 'security reasons'. This is not acceptable and is not standard practice as far as I am aware. My wife went out separately a few times and had to coordinate to ensure we did not get locked out. They suggested using the lockbox but my wife is not very well and needed to go to bed early at times and this meant I had to TRY to wake her. Flat has air-con controls but they do not work. Aircon is not mentioned in the details so that is ok - but it would be nice if there was a Welcome pack or something to explain this. The flat is extremely hot (there was a heatwave so can't complain too much). We had to use the fans provided at night but they are quite noisy. We did not sleep well. Bed is not bad but you feel every movement by your partner. Flat is on 6th floor and there was a problem with the lift where you press button 6 and 2, 4 and 6 light up and it stops at those floors. Minor but annoying - especially when someone else is going up and stopping at every other floor while you are waiting.
