Woodland Apartments - Acadia National Park

The property was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Everything in the apartment looks brand new. My family described the interior and furnishings as “adorable”. Parking was right near entrance with no steps which was very helpful with my 96 year old father who uses a walker to get around. Just a short drive to Acadia park entrance, Bar Harbor and surrounding area and attractions. Communication was excellent. I was kept updated leading up to, during and after our stay. I would definitely book again.

Honestly, everything was just right.

The location was nice, about 25-30 minutes from downtown so more quiet and relaxed. The place was clean and nicely furnished. We appreciated the gift basket, the toiletries, and the abundance of towels!

The bed in the main room was quite hard and uncomfortable. I would’ve loved a fan in the bedroom as it can get a bit stuffy, we weren’t able to close the bedroom door due to this. The water did not get very hot. Warm enough to take a shower, but not enough to halfway fill a tub for our daughter without getting cold.

It was beautifully decorated and very clean.

Although it was VERY clean, there was some kind of a smell in the bathroom. One of us thought it was sort of a sewer gas smell, and the other thought it might be a bit of a moldy smell. The bathroom door would not latch to stay closed and also the door would not stay open on its own, fixing that door so that it stays open when not in use might help with the odor.

There is plenty of room to gather family at day's end and talk together. The accommodations are generous in the size and comfort. There is nothing lacking in the bedrooms, bathroom or kitchen. You could easily live here. Every need was anticipated and fulfilled.

WIFI has restrictions that do not allow some apps to run. This is normally not a big deal but cell reception here is spotty. This meant that we were not consistently able to use our app for the cat feeders.
