Very private woodsy setting just minutes away from hiking, biking, water recreation and more. The village of Southwest Harbor is just minutes from the property and Bar Harbor is only 20 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight through Scenic Tours of Acadia and biking the Carriage Roads. We highly would recommend the property and all that Acadia has to offer.

This house is great. The property is excellent. The indoor pool was a hit. Check-in was very easy. Quiet neighborhood. 25-30 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. One minor item is you cannot change the temperature in the house. It is set to 77. Too warm on a hot day. But once things cooled down the breeze through the house is great with the windows open. I would absolutely rent again.

The house was large and beautiful. Very clean, a great location for visiting Acadia National Park. We were unable to use the pool however because the amount of chlorine in the water (and air) in the pool room caused our eyes to burn/water, irritated our skin and made us all cough (within minutes even after leaving the windows open in hopes of airing the room out). It doesn't seem like many other visitors encountered this during their stay, so it's possible that the pool was recently treated prior to our stay- but was a definite bummer since that was a major reason for our booking this property.
