The property was beautifully designed and in a fantastic location, close to major attractions and transport links. There were also supermarkets, shops and restaurants nearby, which was really convenient. It was lovely to have a balcony, and the little extras such as shampoo, conditioner and coffee pods were much appreciated. The host was very responsive to any questions, and the instructions were clear. The air conditioning was an added bonus.
Despite being a self-catering apartment, a few basic kitchen essentials such as washing-up liquid, a sponge and a tea towel would have been helpful. Some instructions for the appliances would also have been useful, as we weren’t able to work out how to use the oven. We also found the keys for the main building and apartment a little tricky, as they needed to be turned in a particular way, so it sometimes took a few attempts.
