We like the location. We like the character of the brownstone.
I don’t know if you can improve upon something like this, but three flights up the stairs after a long day of traveling was a bit hard on my old body. My nephew didn’t have any problem, however.

Great location and a great historic building on a quiet street. The apartment itself is large and cozy, pleasantly a little worn. Unfortunately, the shower faucet was broken during our visit, so we couldn't wash properly for 7 days. The WIFI signal was so weak from the third day that the TV channels stopped working and the tablet didn't work properly. If the owner fixes these errors, this would be a very good choice for a stay in Chicago.
