Safe and convenient location for a trip with 2 teenagers who wanted to spend most of their time shopping on Michigan Ave. only one working tv and remote in the apartment. The steps did not bother us but the apartment was very loud. The penthouse must be on top of this apartment and there were kids staying in it that ran up and down all morning long so sleep wasn’t great for us. Overall, it was a great apartment for the price in a good area. Would say again.

Great place to stay for our girls weekend. Very convenient to everything in the city! We had the second unit and just to know this is a walk up with about 40-45 stairs to get to the unit.

The apartment appeared poorly maintained:Inside fridge leaking from freezer sectionShower practically nonfunctional in master bathroom with no hot water or water pressure No hot water in the kitchen sinkInsulation around dishwasher exposed and comes out whenever dishwasher is closed and reopened Carpet lifted and sharp tacks exposed in bunk room Carpeting in bedrooms producing allergies - feels like mold or animals were presentBunkbed needs to be tightened as it shakes from the upper bunk
