Maccan’s Village is a great option for accommodation in Arugam Bay. It is clean and the rooms have everything you may need. The location is amazing. 2 minute walk to the beach and next to lots of restaurants and shops. The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating. We had an issue with our booking as we booked quite last minute and the staff sorted it instantly making the whole process a lot less stressful for us.
Everything is great. The only room with a fridge is the largest rooms. It would have been nice to have a fridge in all the rooms but other than that 10/10.

The pool and the location
Weird atmosphere, not very welcoming although there was lots of staff. Unfortunately the rooms were not cleaned properly, however the pool area was very nice and clean. The rooms are tired, the shower tap came off and flooded the room :)

Close to the beach with relaxing swimming pool. Tidy and clean hotel. Must stay everyone

Pool was good.
Location was handy at north end of town.
Staff seemed uninterested once they knew we wouldn’t be surfing.
First morning’s breakfast was farcical, so we went out for brunch on our remaining days.
Seemed expensive compared to other places we’d stayed. But it was the height of the season in Arugambay I guess.
