Our intention was clear we wanted to be as close as we could to a Balinese village experience. Agastya Villa assisted us

Loved the staff and location. For us we were able to enjoy the quieter part of Ubud and easily walk into central Ubud. We were very deliberate in avoiding the Ubud traffic. Our plan was simple: do activities that were on the Agastya Villa side of Ubud. This enable us to either walk or spend small amounts of time travelling by cars. It also gave us the chance to experience the beautiful Balinese way of life. Joyful and peaceful.

Very good villa for the price with excellent staff service

We stayed in Agastya Ubud Villa for 3 nights and it was amazing for its price truly. Villa is located close to Ubud center it can take about 25-30 mins by walk but max 5-10 mins by car. The staff we’re absolutely amazing, very kind and friendly. The reception was reachable any time. It is a small cozy villa with great view overall and definitely good for the price.

We ordered the floating breakfast and dinner one night. Breakfast was nice and juices were really tasty, for dinner Noodles were nice but pizza was not that good unfortunately.

The lock on the door was flimsy and sometimes it was a struggle to leave/enter the room. Also the room service was cold and soggy and felt like it was just delivered rather than cooked at the villa

The villa was smaller than expected, and since it’s not fully enclosed, we noticed several small animals coming into the room. Still, good value for money.

the villa itself is beautiful, we loved having the private pool and the staff were so polite and helpful. also a really great location, you can easily get to everything you want to within 5-15 minutes but it’s also situated in a quieter area so it was good to get away from the busy streets once you get back to the room. beautiful views too so i would highly recommend!

it’s inevitable that there will be bugs/insects so it was a constant effort to keep all doors closed so they didn’t get in, but they did anyways haha. but the staff do come by every evening to put down a mosquito repellent thing! didn’t love the fact that the bathroom was outside but we did get used to it over time.

Perfect Jungle Stay – Peaceful, Clean, and Well-Maintained

We stayed at Agastya Villa after a very disappointing experience at another property in Ubud, and the difference was incredible. Agastya Villa offers exactly what you expect from a proper jungle retreat – peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The villa was spotless and fresh, with no sign of insects or reptiles inside the room, despite being in the heart of the jungle. The structure was solid, the roof and doors were perfectly sealed, and we felt completely safe and comfortable during our entire stay. The bed was very comfortable with clean, crisp linens, and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure and plenty of hot water – something we really appreciated after our previous stay elsewhere. What also made a big difference was the staff. They were polite, discreet, and always available when needed, without being intrusive. There were no excessive “do not” signs around the villa – the whole place felt welcoming and relaxing. If you are looking for an authentic jungle experience in Ubud without sacrificing comfort, hygiene, or peace of mind, I highly recommend Agastya Villa. It is clear that the owners care about maintaining high standards. We left feeling rested, happy, and very satisfied. Would definitely come back!

This was absolutely stunning everything was perfect the attention to detail was spot on, it was about a 10 min grab right to the town where there were lots of restaurants, bars and shops there were also some really nice food places along the road we stayed on and a little supermarket for essentials

My garden view villa was lovely for two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, the outdoor bathroom wonderful. I particularly enjoyed having my meals at my table in the garden area next to the pool. It was just a quick taxi into Ubud central which was arranged by the staff.

La chambre avec la piscine privée et la vue sur la végétation était excellente. Le personnel très sympathique aussi. Pour information, la chambre n’est pas isolé du bruit extérieur.

Le petit déjeuner est sans plus et on nous a réveillé à 6h du matin pour savoir si on voulait prendre le petit déjeuner.

Séjour exceptionnel !

Le logement était exceptionnel et l'accueil encore plus. Les employés de l'hôtel avaient préparé une jolie décoration sur le lit pour souhaiter joyeux anniversaire à ma femme, il lui ont même ramené un petit gâteau avec une bougie et chanter joyeux anniversaire. Avoir passé quelques jours dans ce cocon était un rêve éveillé, nous espérons avoir la chance d'y retourner dans le futur !

Prachtig verblijf!

Agastya Ubud Villa is een fantastisch verblijf! We hebben enorm genoten van het uitzicht, het lekkere ontbijt en het heerlijke zwembad. Helaas viel het weer tijdens ons verblijf tegen, waardoor we niet optimaal gebruik konden maken van het privézwembad en de jacuzzi, maar alsnog zeker een aanrader! Het personeel is ook ontzettend behulpzaam en staat elk moment voor je klaar :)

Een aandachtspuntje is de hygiëne. Aangezien je midden in de jungle zit en het een buitenbadkamer is, hadden wij wel last van ongedierte. Daarnaast is de buitendouche niet afgeschermd. Hier moet je even rekening mee houden tijdens je verblijf, maar wat ons betreft zeker geen reden om dit hotel niet te boeken!
