The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake. Easy to get to. The cabin is like an air b&B super host many extras. It was nice to be able to cook. I never spoke with an actual person, but they responded quickly to my questions. Very peaceful, not a lot of noisy traffic. They tried to be accommodating. The cabins are very nice inside. Ours had a massaging lounge chair, a cute small portable fireplace.
The bed was very high. For a senior, it's difficult to get in and out of.I'm 5'9 and struggled to get up into the bed.
Check in and out times. Check out is 10:00 am. You can pay an extra $25.00 per hour to stay later. I opted to pay the $25.00 for the 11:00 checkout. You then receive a message, stating they will let you know in the morning if you are approved. Hi Melissa, Your late check-out is still subject to approval, and you have not been charged.. we'll double check with management and we'll let you know first thing in the morning We received a message the next morning at 8 stating that we were approved and we would not be charged for the extra hour.
After I booked the room, we received a text wanting to know why we booked the room for the same day we were going to use it.

I feel that is an invasion of privacy. We booked the room for a foster care visit with our foster care child, who is in a special program.
I feel it was a little much with all of the requirements needed to rent the room, upload my drivers license and a picture/ selfee, download the app, and give a reason as to why you were renting the room the same day.

This place is phenomenal! We are already planning a return trip. A beautiful little resort on a hill overlooking Chippewa Lake. Our cabin #4 was perfect. Equipped with everything we needed to make some simple meals. The cabin also comes stocked with charcoal and a grill. The common outdoor area has lawn games and a fire pit with seating. The gazebo is a nice place to relax and read a book while also housing a small DVD library. A short walk leads you down to the property's lakeside multilevel decks and 2 docks. The water is shallow and nice to swim here. The little town is adorable. We had a fantastic meal at Rooster Saloon and some very sweet coffee drinks across the street from them. If you like to fish, the lake is full of different species. We caught a handful off the public ramp. Our original destination in the Upper Peninsula sold out the first 2 nights of our planned trip, so we stumbled upon this place and booked it. Lucky us! Lastly, the value was insane. I can not say enough good things about this place.
I can't think of a single thing. My son wanted to find the pickle ball court and play, but I don't know if it was open or available to use.
