About this house rental
Large 4 bed/ 3 bath house over looking beautiful views of the lake. Spend time on the lake paddling, exploring, fishing, swimming and sunbathing with a sturdy stand up paddle board, 3 kayaks one of which is rigged for fishing with a trolling motor and a canoe. Head to the county park for playground equipment or to a nature preserve both less than 1 mile away from the front door. Downtown Rockford is quick drive and has great activities including bowling, arcade, boardwalk along the Rogue River, Saturday morning Farmer’s Market and locally owned shops, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. The setting of the house on the lake makes it simply inviting. If your an early riser for a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise to the East with some nearby fishermen slowly crossing the lake for their catch or, if your an evening person who likes the waning of sunset.. you won't be disappointed night after night, after night.. or morning after morning, it’s truly relaxing. Several work stations with high speed internet are available for those that need to plug in to work or school.

This house is in a perfect location. It's a quiet lake road, yet close to all that Rockford has to offer. The lake views and lake access were amazing. The pontoon boat, kayaks and fishing were over-the-top amenities. We caught large-mouth bass for several meals and enjoyed sunsets in kayaks on the lake. Walks along the quiet, shaded lake road were therapeutic! Our hosts were very thoughtful with many personal touches and they had excellent communication, quickly handling anything that came up.
