Beautiful stone cottage in peaceful village

The cottage was so welcoming and cosy, clean and with everything required for our stay. Bed was comfortable and shower amazing. Situated in a quiet little area with friendly neighbours and bonus of parking right outside. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again. 🥰

Back garden not enclosed and private but does have own seating area and likely to be great during summer.

Clean and spacious

None

It felt very homely when we arrived. Well presented and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed to cook meals. The bathroom was great, a huge walk in shower as well as a large bath. The towels were bath sheets, which is unusual in short stay accommodation. Bedrooms were small, but the beds comfy, and at the end of the day, the size of the room was irrelevant as we were only in it to sleep! We visited the Red Horse Inn up the road, lovely quaint village pub, with locals who were very welcoming.

Nothing of significance, but would have appreciated some sugar/sweeteners. I always take my own tea/coffee as I’m fussy, but didn’t take sweeteners as I’d wrongly assumed there would be tea/coffee etc provided I was aware from other reviews that the garden wasn’t “secure” to let the dog out, but that wasn’t really an issue, just meant we had to go out with her.

Very cosy with all facilities catered

Nothing. Everything was more than we expected
