We absolutely love this huge, beautiful charming apartment in Matera. This is the best one out of so many apartments we have stayed in Europe over our 6 week travel. The location is ideal to explore Matera, especially the Sassi, just a stone throw away from the main attractions, restaurants and a supermarket. Sergio was very kind and patient. He came to pick us up and drop us from the bus stop, even at 4.30am. He gave very clear instructions on how to explore the Sassi without much climbing and getting lost. His apartment has everything we needed for a 2 night stay and we even got to cook a meal. It was decorated with Italian flavor without over the top. Wish we could stay longer, just to chill in the apartment, to enjoy it and feel like home. Highly recommend this apartment if you are planning to come to Matera.

If I have to pick one, the shower room is a little small and wish there was a washing machine. But that was fine.
