About this chalet rental

Made with quality materials, as local and durable as possible, our small comfort oil invites you to recharge, to find time for yourself and / or your family in calm. Facing the mountains, you can enjoy a protected environment, in a Haut-Savoyard hamlet where life flows peacefully. In the morning, for breakfast, we are waiting for you in our Petit Espace Café, just a few steps away.

On the ground floor are the bedroom with double bed, the bathroom (with walk-in shower) and the staircase leading to the kitchen/living room area. A "hut-refuge" style mezzanine houses 2 additional beds.

In order to preserve the resources, we chose to equip our fuel oil with dry sawdust toilets and to organize composting of organic waste, treasure for the development of our garden forest and our permacole development around the project. Don't worry, we'll guide you through how best to use this device if you don't know it, because we've been using it for over ten years.

The night includes breakfast, which is taken in the Petit Espace Café of our project 1000 Borne Caffè, just next to the mazot. You will be served 1 hot drink from the menu, 1 pastry and 1 local fruit juice, which you can supplement other delicacies from the menu (extra charge) if you wish.
One word guided us to design our accommodations: resourcing.

Invite you to stay in warm, comforting and regenerating places.

Nature, we are convinced, is the best ally for cultivating serenity.

Wood, preferably local or from renovated traditional farms, worked with the know-how of local craftsmen, is therefore widely used in our places. Our soil, a hypnotizing blue-gray clay-limestone, has pushed us to combine it with the minerality of lime coatings tinged with natural pigments.

We have favored the principles of eco-construction, wool, metis, phytopurification, heat pump, reuse, in order to reduce the environmental impact of our project and to offer you a healthier habitat.

Dry toilets, Norwegian pot, Bokashi composter, solar oven... in our gites, we also wanted to invite you to discover low-tech, devices as playful and efficient as sustainable, which artfully preserve our resources while promoting our comfort.

Around you, we put in place a layout guided by the principles of permaculture, because our goal is as much to invite you to marvel at the abundance as to enjoy it freely during your stay.

You will also have the opportunity to leave your car at rest during your stay and benefit from our fleet of electric assistance bicycles, including cargo models to take up to 2 children or adults, at special price to move you and visit our beautiful territory.

Welcome to the 1000 Borne Caffè!
