About this house rental

Trinity Cottage is a charming semi-detached, traditional stone cottage which enjoys an enviable position on the cliff tops at St Ann’s Head and offers glorious views out to sea over the mouth of the Milford Haven waterway.Deceptively spacious it has been renovated with love and original features such as beams, high ceilings and exposed stone work have been retained. The large cottage-style fitted kitchen offers breathtaking sea views and has a super Rayburn for preparing family meals, this leads through to the sitting room, a wonderful spot to relax, both this room and the dining room have wood burning stoves to keep you snug on chillier evenings.Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the two pretty bedrooms nestling in the eaves, enjoy the wonderful panoramic aspect out to sea when you wake in the morning in the double bedroom. The shared lawned garden to the front also offers the most stunning view over the headland and water, the perfect setting for a summer’s evening barbecue, please note your half is the lawn to your right as you face the sea in front of Trinity Cottage. Set right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, it is ideal for keen walkers and is a wonderful way to explore this stunning coastline. There is direct cliff access to the tiny Mill Bay, where Henry VII reputedly landed. Just around the corner on the headland is The Old High Lighthouse of St Ann's Head; operated until 1910, it was also used as a Coastguard lookout from the Second World War right up until 1993. Nowadays it is disused but it is certainly worth taking a stroll past during your stay here. The village of Dale is a 2 mile drive or 4 mile cliff hike, with its waterside pub, The Griffin, which is a great refreshment, stop on your walks for a well deserved pint and pub lunch, this sheltered harbour and beach attracts visitors all year round and is popular with water sport enthusiasts and sailors. There is also a hire centre, cafe and yacht club restaurant to try. There are a number of fabulous beaches nearby including Watwick Bay, Marloes Sands and Musslewick. Martin’s Haven is the embarkation point for boat trips to Skomer and Skokholm, a must of any holiday, particularly when the Puffins arrive to breed.Trinity Cottage is perfect for a couple or family whatever the season.
