Our stay at Shiva Homestay in Gondla was, without question, the most special travel experience we have ever had. We travelled as a family of six with four children, and from the moment we arrived, something just felt right. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by mountains that create a deep sense of calm and stillness. It’s not just a view, it’s something you feel the entire time you are there. What made this stay truly unforgettable was the family who runs the homestay. Their kindness is genuine and effortless. Nothing felt forced or transactional. We were welcomed as people, not just guests, and that made all the difference. Our children were treated with so much warmth and patience, which allowed us as parents to fully relax. The atmosphere is peaceful, grounding, and deeply authentic. Meals, conversations, and quiet moments all felt meaningful in a way that is hard to describe. This was not just a great stay, it was a life changing experience for our family. We left feeling calmer, more connected, and incredibly grateful. If you are looking for something real, something beyond a typical hotel experience, this place is truly special. We will carry this experience with us for a long time.
