Penthouse at First Bay Coolum

Leading up to our holiday at Coolum, I was extremely concerned about key collection, as communication with booking.com and Leisure Holiday Homes was a nightmare. I have never experienced so much stress, just trying to organise accommodation. On the day, I did not receive an access code to open key box and after ringing the office many times, could not talk to a person, therefore left messages for someone to call me. After waiting three hours, someone finally called back. In the meantime, I had to drive half an hour each way in traffic to arrive at the office to obtain an access code. Unhelpful staff in the office finally gave me the code. The whole time this was happening, I truly thought my party of seven people were not going to have anywhere to sleep that night. Extremely stressful start to my holiday, but staff in office weren’t concerned at all.

A beautiful, spacious apartment with gorgeous rooftop terrace, stunning ocean views and directly opposite a gorgeous swimming beach.

Beautiful, spacious, well appointed apartment. Location was excellent and easy access to First Bay Beach and shops in Coolum. Great location to relax and enjoy everything Coolum has to offer. We were lucky to stay during whale season and the deck provided great views of the whales as they swam south.

Apartment was stunning. Appliances were top of the range and easy to use. Access to town and beach was a short walk. Very comfortable beds with plenty of blankets. The right amount of kitchen items to prepare stunning meals. Will definitely be back. Access to equipment in storage for extra fun.

Fire place disconnected. Abseiling team present for 3 days of our stay which meant blinds were down and noisy generator.
