The Dover Stop

The room was spacious and comfortable and tastefully appointed. The pantry next to our room was appreciated. We enjoyed the availability of coffee/tea to make for ourselves and excellent cake. There were provisions for a light, healthy breakfast. Host James was very pleasant and his communication both before our stay and during was excellent. Thank you James !

James and Ben provided a first rate place to stay. They had a most lovely place and went out of there way to help make out stay most enjoyable. The room was lovely and the location with the view of the castle was great. Would definitely stay here again

Everything! Such special touches like homemade cakes and I loved all the colors, decorations. The hosts were so accommodating. I wish I had more time there honestly!

James was an amazing host. He and Ben did a spectacular job of renovating their home and inn. We stayed in the lovely room with the blue cloud wallpaper next to the hidden kitchenette which was stocked with some breakfast things and homemade fruit bread (made by James). The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. The bathroom was super clean (as was the entire house) the location was good too. We will return every time when we are back in Dover if available. I can't say enough about this wonderful stay!!
