It's certainly a big roomy apartment if there's just two of you. The big fridge was good and worked well. The microwave was welcome. The beds are very big and comfortable The shower was hot and powerful. The TV with YouTube films was a godsend. Takes a bit of mooching to find, just click on the Apps then the YouTube icon then search for English Films. You'll find loads. The big sofa is comfy. Cleanly decorated. The great big heavy fleece throws for the beds were awesome. My wife lay under one on the sofa every night watching TV. Good price if this is crucial you. Omar who owns it is easy to contact, responds quickly and was helpful.

Anyone with mobility issues will hate the stairs. My wife did. She had to pause halfway up each time to catch her breath. As much as people say it's 'great' for the market entrance, trust me it's really not in a very 'illustrious ' area. The buildings around it are very, very run down. Think Bronx to give you an idea. When we stepped out the taxi we looked at each other and thought 'Oops'. I immediately considered taking the hit and going to a hotel somewhere especially after walking through the downstairs entrance. However we were pleasantly surprised once inside at how light and bright it was. The noise from the street below can get loud with youths and random groups of men shouting and it continues until well past midnight. A few wall sockets are wobbly and hanging out. Pushing plugs into them I was always waiting for a shock - literally. I'm a bit of a cook and even I struggled knocking a basic meal up with the cooking equipment. Seriously I've taken more with me camping when i was younger. No big serving spoon, no spatula, no colander, one very small saucepan and one frying pan ...and that's pretty much it tbh. Not even a potato peeler or tin opener. Even making a frittata was a logistical exercise when it came to flipping it. We couldn't even fry an egg. You will get very creative trying to cook a meal using a fork or a dessert spoon, a little saucepan and a frying pan trust me. I know you don't go away to cook but most restaurants are a pretty fair hike away so it's nice to have the option. If you're on a super tight budget you'll be okay here. However if , like us, you're retired and can afford better. I'd say pay a bit more and go more 'upmarket '. In hindsight I wished we'd paid another couple of hundred quid for the week and been in a nicer part of the city (are there any nicer parts) with better facilities and closer to the shops and restaurants.
