Ladybird Lodge

The piece and quiet was just what we wanted. There is plenty of outside seating and very well equipped inside.

On arriving at the caravan, we noticed the door handle had broken the outside of the caravan, leaving a hole in the side of the caravan. We noticed that there was no BBQ, which we were looking forward to It was a nice touch to find a lovely bottle of wine and a packet of biscuits.

Lovely lodge in a peaceful location ideally situated for visiting the lakes and coastal towns. Relaxing environment perfect for short breaks.

Stylish,neat ,modern, good value

Surprised none of the solar items on the balcony worked would have been nice sitting out at night with them on. The en suite shower door was hard to open and shut as was the side lodge door, the door seems to have dropped a bit.

Like the location, all was good except the kitchen area left a lot to be desired. Utensils and cutlery have a thin layer of grease like substance. Difficult to say but they all need a deep clean and putting back in a sorted order., not happy hazard. Gas bottles need checking before arrival of new customers, both were empty on our arrival, so boiler was not working to provide hot water. Owner was very sympathetic and site changed gas bottles promptly. Owner was going to have a conversation with the cleaners as she was not made aware of the stained and dirty Utensils.... To the owners credit she apologised as it is difficult to manage property when relient on others perform. We had a good break but it was spoilt due to the hygiene issues.
