Agriturismo Borgo Levante

Prachtige rustige plek, heel mooie tuin en mooi zwembad met ligstoelen. Prachtige bomen met natuurlijke schaduw en overal de rose bougainville. We zijn supervriendelijk ontvangen door Alfredo. Hij is erg behulpzaam en heeft veel tips voor bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Ontbijt is eenvoudig maar alles was er. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, Liliane die ‘s morgens heel vriendelijk hielp met het ontbijt en Giulia, de Italiaanse cuoca die heerlijk uitgebreid een 4 gangen menu kookte. Toppers! Je komt als gast en gaat weg als vriend, zoals Alfredo zelf ook zegt. Wij hadden de suite, was een heel mooie kamer met slaap- en zitgedeelte. Het mooiste was het grote dakterras. Goede uitvalsbasis om naar Syracuse, Noto, Catania en Taormina etc. te gaan.

Niets negatiefs te noemen! (Een koffiezetapparaat en waterkoker zouden wel fijn zijn, maar op verzoek brengt Alfredo ook bv een potje thee ).

Borgo Levante is about rest and relaxation. Despite running around for parts of the day, it is a family run home away from home. The question of “will you be having dinner at home tonight?” Was met with a four course dinner cooked in the kitchen by staff who added that most critical ingredient “love”. The pool was enjoyable and walks in the area were sedate and relaxing. Alberto, the proprietor, was relaxed with a “no problem” attitude about everything. We were there at the same time as a family of four from the UK and they traveled each day to see Sicily and their kids had a great balance of time away but loved being at the venue.

There was nothing not to like. Showers worked well with good hot water, space was abundant for privacy and the rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily.
