Nesting in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of town, rests The Hummingbird House. Just a 10-15 minute scenic drive from Downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, this beautiful property is the perfect place for travelers looking for a private and quiet place to stay. If you enjoy nature you can often see deer around the house in the morning. Take a seat on the front porch late afternoon or early evening and wait for a visit from the friendly hummingbirds. If you can be still enough to gain their trust you may be able to feed them by hand with our feeders! Have a fire in the evening and be amazed as you look up and see how close you are to the stars. Have a barbecue and chef it up on our giant grill out back. Get into it with a game of darts, a puzzle or one of the other games we have available. Less than 1 mile from Town Hill Market, West Eden Commons and Atlantic Brewing. 1.5 miles from Mothers Kitchen and 2 miles from Travelin' Lobster!

Property was great! Great location, close to Bar Harbour and Arcadia. Property was clean with ample room for everyone to spend time together or have some private time. The living room, kitchen, open floor plan was great for everyone to hang out. Plenty of seating and nice game area in front room.We did not get to use the firepit in the yard but it waa certaiy inviting. Would definitely stay here again. Host was very timely with all communication.

Great, comfortable house, and very convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The owner was attentive and helpful, all around an excellent place to stay.

Probably one of the cleanest, most comfortable, and convenient rentals I have ever had. Greg was extremely communicative. The entire property was beautiful and conveniently located close to Bar Harbor. Perfect for a get away weekend.

The house was in a great location for us to explore Mt. Desert Island. Beautiful home and plenty of space to spread out. Just minutes away is Atlantic Brewing with BBQ, we heard was amazing, but didn't arrive in time before they closed. If you like pizza, West Eden Pizza is delicious and also just a few minutes away. Only 11 minutes from Bar Harbor, if you want to shop.
