PERFECT LOCATION, AMAZING VIEWS AND SUNSETS FROM A PRIVATE BALCONY!! Stay in the heart of downtown and enjoy the skyline and river view through the large sliding glass doors or from the charming balcony. Battleship Sunset is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple on a romantic getaway because it's quiet and peaceful on the 5th floor. However, you're just steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping, entertainment, and the downtown Riverwalk. Free parking for one vehicle is available at a parking deck just one block away, and we highly recommend just leaving your car there and walking or taking an uber as parking downtown can be challenging.
Battleship Sunset is clean, modern, and fully stocked with all of the amenities you need. Check in anytime with contactless, keyless entry and clear instructions. The private condo boasts high ceilings and has a living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and private balcony with stellar views of historic USS North Carolina Battleship. Snacks and bottled water await your arrival. The living room has a large smart TV, comfortable couch, and wireless internet. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, flatware, towels, soaps, sponges, Keurig coffee machine with regular and decaf pods, and the basics like salt, pepper, and oil. The bathroom is clean with fluffy towels, nice individual soaps, a modern glass shower with nice water pressure. The queen size bed has a comfortable mattress and a fully encapsulating mattress protector and quality pillows with fully encapsulating protectors to ensure that they are sanitary. The blankets and linens are clean and of high quality.

We enjoyed our first visit to Wilmington and especially pleased that we chose this rental property. The location is within walking distance to many nice restaurants. We had a perfect view of the Cape Fear River and the USS North Carolina. If we had chosen other river view properties, we would have sacrificed convenience. The Riverwalk was in front of us. Before renting, we were concerned about crowd and road noise, but neither were a big problem. We mostly communicated with Curt at Wilmington Vacation Rentals. They were very accommodating and quick to respond. We had a long drive and were allowed to check in a little earlier. Our previous experiences with other trips were not so helpful. We encountered a couple of minor problems at the property. Curt replied about 20 minutes after reporting the situation. Within the hour, a maintenance guy was at our place and resolved the concerns while we had lunch.The parking garage was a block away and convenient. We recommend unloading at the property before parking. We understand that there will be a great fireworks show on July 4 near the USS North Carolina. This property would be a perfect vantage point.

This apartment is a great place from which to explore Wilmington and the surrounding communities. It is adjacent to the Riverwalk and has a great view of the river and the Battleship North Carolina. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the historic district. The place was clean and well equipped for a short stay in the downtown.

Condo was clean and stocked with extras. Photos were spot on. View and location were amazing - couldn’t get much better! Check-in process was very easy and hosts communicated the process very well. Always replied quickly to comms sent to them. Would recommend and will more than likely stay again ourselves!
