When we arrived, Thierry (the owner) said that this place is a little paradise. He's right. It is between hills on the bank of the river. The scenery is beautiful. You can swim, rent kayaks, hike, or ride a bike. We arrived in the middle of July, and it was the perfect time to swim in the river. Even in the morning, the water was quite warm. There are two bridges near the house: one for cars and another, the tall one, for trains. This makes the whole area seem charming. The property is located just 10 minutes by car from the small town of Gannat, where you can find supermarkets and car chargers. The apartment where we lived was a studio with a bedroom on the floor. It was the perfect size for a family of four. The apartment was clean and comfortable. After a long drive, we were happy to find coffee in the apartment.

Everything was perfect. My son said the internet connection wasn't perfect, but that might be even better. After all, you're not in a place like that to browse the internet.

Mooie plek! Klein huisje, slaapkamer boven en comfortabele slaapbank beneden. Verder had het alles wat we nodig hebben voor een overnachting onderweg (keuken, goede badkamer). Heerlijke tuin buiten met overal zitjes, om buiten te eten, te borrelen en lekker bij het riviertje te zitten.

We moesten even zoeken naar de ingang vanaf de weg. We hadden de instructies die we hadden ontvangen niet goed gelezen. De eigenaar kwam naar ons toe toen we contact opnamen, super goed geregeld!
