Upon arriving, the door to the back bedroom with porch was standing wide open so the AC seemed to have issues all weekend keeping up. Thank goodness for the window unit to help with matters. The beds in the unit had not been changed from the previous occupants. I mean literally looked like they had just gotten out of the beds! Once notified, new linens were brought over by Januari even though it was her day off. She was an amazing help with everything. Sleeping 4 people around the 6 foot mark here is a bit of a stretch but we managed. There are some repairs and general maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of that jumped out on my initial walk through (documenting since the property was not secured at arrival) and a few more we found that evening. If I lived in the area, I would have given them a decent price to make the repairs. Lots of loose nails that would be better served by being replaced with marine deck screws and a bathroom door that needs the hinge screws fixed since they've been stripped out causing you to have to lift the door into position unless you want you roommates to see you in all your hunckered-up glory. We cooked most of the time we were there and the appliances worked well but some new kitchenware is needed. The skillet we found to use has a bit of a gangsta lean so only one side cooks. Location of the property is nice as you can catch some of the sunrise and all of the sunset. If the issues we noted were fixed, I would consider staying again.
