The location of the property is blocks from the Pitti Palace. The street in front of the Palace crosses the river and goes into downtown Florence. Lots of restaurants, some small grocery stores, and lots of shopping. Very walkable. There is a cafe around the corner where we went every morning for breakfast. We felt safe walking in the area at night. We are in our early 70’s. The many stories wore us out, but if you’re younger, you should do fine. The washer was great!
