A friendly intro to Angelo and his partner and a quick tour of the place. It was a clean apartment, adequate dishes, clothesline with pins, a few little things in the cupboard. Shower had good pressure, hot and cold for a rinse after a hot day in the city. Close proximity to town, less than 5 minutes to a bridge to cross into the main city center. Everything is right there

The stay was very nice and relaxing. It is walking distance to everything but in a more quiet and relaxed neighborhood. If you are renting a car this is a nice plade because there is a safe car garage around the corner.

My husband and I spent a week at Casa Giorgio and loved it! I was nervous about renting a newly listed property, and it exceeded our expectations. The host was very understanding about our travel delay. The apartment is much larger than it appears in photos with enormous windows and high ceilings. Although Florence was extremely hot during our stay, the open windows provided ample breeze to keep us comfortable. Not mentioned in the description are the two balconies on the front and back of the apartment. We enjoyed sitting on the bedroom balcony every evening to unwind after busy days of sightseeing. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe, yet everything one could need is within easy walking distance. Furthermore, we walked only 20 minutes over the Arno every morning to meet our tour guide. The Santo Spirito area has a charming nightlife. We will most definitely return to this apartment when we visit Florence again.
