You will enjoy staying in this cozy, 3 bed, 1 bath home. It is located in Guttenberg, Iowa, a block from the Mississippi River. This house is setup with 1 level. 2 beds and 1 sleeper sofa, with 1 bathroom, living room, full kitchen, front porch(great spot for drinking coffee in the morning.) There is also a washer and dryer unit.
The kitchen, is fully equipped for cooking, including all appliances, utensils, pots, dishes, etc. There will also be a gas grill available outside, so you may need to grab another tank if the current one is empty, as we let our guests furnish the tank.
All linens are provided. Sheets, pillows, and towels.
In front of the house, there is street parking. You may also park a vehicle in the back, right in front of the garage.
Enjoy the beautiful view of the Mississippi River, just a block from the house. The view is absolutely breath taking!
There are also 2 marinas, one north of the house, above the dam, or the south marina, which sits below the dam. **No disposal of fish remains on the property. Failure to comply, will incur a $100 disposal fee.
UTV’s are allowed in Clayton County and in Guttenberg. Golf carts are also allowed in town.
There are many great places to grab a bite to eat. Anywhere from pizza and ice cream(Joe's pizza is great!), to a burger and fries. There are so many great places to choose from!
Are you looking for some entertainment?! Lakeside ballroom, in town, not only has great food, but hosts various bands, with great music. There is also music in the park, right south of the house each week during the summer.

My family and I absolutely love Gutenberg and all it has to offer! We enjoy the river and all the sights to see that are within an easy hours drive. House was very close to alk the action and exceptional clean and tidy. All linens and beds were ready to go and there were plenty of extras that made our stay comfortable. Thank you for allowing us in your wonderful home!

Very clean, but cramped. Soft uneven floor. No hard surface walkway to enter the house - either walk around garage on grass, long distance from curb on grass, or between garage and house on large stone and over drain pipe. Surprised to read no shoes rule after entering. Doctor recommends I wear shoes at all times, but I complied. Small 1-2 inch step up into kitchen is a trip hazard.
