Bright and brautiful home has everything you need - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a furnished lanai with a nice sized heated pool. The home is located in a premier spot - only 2.6 miles from Old Englewood Village on West Dearborn Street. The quiet deed restricted community called Bay Vista is also immediately adjacent to Lemon Bay Park - a 210-acre nature park with 1.7 miles of shoreline on the beautiful Lemon Bay Aquatic Preserve. So a quiet walk among tropical birds, eagles, tortoises, manatees, and more can be found right at the end of our street.
"But what about the beach?," you ask. This home is only 10-15 minutes away from FIVE different gulf coast beaches - Manasota Key Beach, Englewood Beach, Stump Pass, Blind Pass, and Caspersen.
This home is in walking/biking distance to Old Englewood Village - Englewood's historic downtown. First settled in 1878, this former fishing village is charming and laid-back and is home to some great eateries, boutiques, and galleries. The Village is home to several popular ongoing events, including the Englewood Farmers' Market (every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., October through May) and Cruisin' on Dearborn Street (the first Saturday of every month at 5 p.m.), a free vintage and antique car show.
Also, if you want a taste of New Florida for a bit, travel 10 minutes to Venice, Florida. Venice Beach is only 20 minutes away and is hopping with activity! Linens: Beach towels are available for your use. There are two sets of sheets for each bed and extra blankets in each of the bedroom closets. Additionally, there are 12 sets of bath towels (four sets for each room). Prior to departure, please be sure all dirty linens and towels are stripped and placed next to the washer in the garage. If you are able to start a load and move it to the dryer before you leave, all the better.
Outdoor equipment: There are beach chairs, an umbrella, and other outdoor items available for your use. At this point, we have two bikes that guests are free to use but we are not responsible for their condition.
Regarding parking, our garage is used for storage. Therefore, there is only room for one car in the garage.

This home has everything you could want, just like home.Decorated nicely yet homey. We had a slight problem with the smoke detectors going off for no reason but at least we know they work if needed. The pool was a nice feature which we don’t usually have. Met the neighbor next door and the Mrs. very friendly. The house has Alexa which we are not used to turning lights on and off. Would love to come back next year. Since we are both seniors we took advantage of Florida’s SunCoast Senior Centers, exercise programs, social music and dancing to keep us busy.
