The air conditioning is two window units. They are in the bedrooms upstairs. The nights in Colorado are cool and to keep the house cool open windows at night and close them during the day. The basement is an underground basement and it stays cool.
The children's play areas are available at your own risk. We ask that children be supervised during your stay.
Absolutely NO open fires are allowed. The risk of wildfire for the area is too high.The gas firepit out back is available when there is no fire ban. If there is a fire ban, the firepit will be removed. You will be asked to leave immediately if there is any fire activity.

We were in town for a family wedding and this house served our family of 5 adults well. Be aware that one of the beds is a tiny kid's bed, but the other one in that room can sleep a normal adult. It just has a wood frame around it that makes getting in and out a little odd.
If you have kids with you, this place is awesome! Some fun play areas for kids.
The house feels like someone's home. It's nice and bright. The backyard is relaxing and the neighborhood seems quiet and friendly.
The basement is quiet, cool (in the Summer), and the bed is comfy. We slept very well in the bed down there. Also, A+ to the owner for supplying VERY high quality toilet paper. That is not the norm for most of these rentals. It's the little things!
Check-in, check-out and the whole process with the host was great. Easy access and easy departure instructions.
