The lovely cottage with a thatched roof, the adjacent modern dwelling, and the beautiful grounds made for a wonderful experience! The pastoral and quiet surroundings were enjoyable.

Excellent cottage and host. The house and shed are beautiful and fully stocked. And for an added benefit, friendly cows just across the street. The house is just a few minutes from town down lovely roads. Highly recommend!!!

If you want a taste of true rural Ireland, this is the place to stay. The Thatch and the Shed are both beautiful, modern, clean and highly kept up. We used this property as our home base for day trips to Kilkenny, Callan, Waterford, Wexford, Glendalough, Blarney Castle, and Kilarney.
