Y’all, just wait until you see this adorable home, which has been lovingly restored and gorgeously decorated! Tucked back on a quiet Lane off of Main Street, Misty Moon feels a million miles away from the real world, yet is close to everywhere you want to be. Sip Sweet Tea on the Front Porch, or stroll down the street to Historic Main Street Restaurant, Shops, and the Waterfront Park, which is home to many free concerts and entertainment during the Summer Season.
Only 5 minutes from Assateague National Seashore, you really can have it all on your next Vacation! Wild Ponies, Beach Combing, and one of the most gorgeous beaches in our country are just a short drive or bike ride away! Did you know that Assateague National Seashore is the most visited National Park in our country? You will understand why once you experience it for yourself!
As you enter Misty Moon, you’ll fall in love with the serene Coastal Colors and warm decor. Relax in the Living Area after a fun-filled day at the Beach, and enjoy Free WiFi and Flat Screen Smart TV. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, well stocked.We loved the fact that it was tucked away but still on Main Street and easily accessible to restaurants and coffee shops.

We wanted to experience Chincoteague. This was our first stay. The location by downtown was excellent. We were able to walk to downtown shops and park.My wife was delighted with the kitchen, which was fully equipped, much better than some places we have stayed at. The Misty Moon also provides linen, which many Chincoteague locations do not. This is a superior house at Chincoteague in our opinion.The staff communicated by text throughout the stay, including letting us know that the house was ready and we could check in early on our arrival date. The text updates were a positive service.The only problem is that the Misty Moon is located behind two other houses. The mailbox is on Main Street, but the check-in instructions did not specify that I needed to turn into a lane between two houses to reach the Misty Moon. The location off Main Street is actually a great feature, since the house is downtown, but not affected by nighttime traffic.We will definitely rebook at this location when we return to Chincoteague.

The Misty moon cottage on Chincoteague was the most delightful rental home I’ve ever stayed in. It is decorated with beautiful, live plants, accent, wallpaper, rustic, and classic pictures and lovely furniture. We enjoyed the front porch and the side porch for morning coffee and evening wine. The TV on the side screened in porch was a plus. The house was so clean and well taken care of, and the landscaping was divine.. I hope I get the opportunity to stay here again
