Enjoy a peaceful stay at Mariners Landing Resort on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in Huddleston Virginia. This ground floor corner condo unit is perfect if you are looking for a quiet location at Mariners Landing Resort. Located in Building-3 on the opposite end of the outdoor pool, but still a short walk down the enclosed hallway to The Market Place, The Landing Resturant, Pool, Hot Tub, Beaches and Day Docks. The oversized balcony window completely opens for lake breezes and mountain views. This unit has a newly updated kitchen with new granite counter tops, newer appliances and has been freshly painted. The kitchen is complete with a full-size stainless steel appliances; stove, refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker, microwave and dishwasher. The Unit Sleeps 4. Condo is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, towels and all linens.
Both bedrooms have queen size beds with en suite full bathrooms and closets. Bathrooms include wall mounted hair dryers and mounted shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers.
Amenities include beautiful walking/biking trails, beaches, two outside pools (one tailored to younger children with slides located at the The Center), the other located at The Pointe tailored for the adults with a hot tub overlooking the lake. Additionally, there is an indoor olympic size pool with hot tub, therapy pools and locker room located at The Center. Amenity Fee is $30 per day which includes access to the Fitness Center, Pools, Beaches, Day Docks, and 15% off greens fees. Boat Ramp access is included at no additional cost. Trailer parking and boat dock fees are $50 first night, $25 each additional day.
Please notify Host if you plan to bring a watercraft/boat.
The Marketplace is steps away with Starbucks for your morning coffee, muffin or breakfast sandwich. The Marketplace also offers beer, wine, soda, water, ice cream and gift items.

The Landing Resturant is located in Building One and offers an upscale experience overlooking the lake with indoor/outdoor seating. The Peruvian Chef utilizes locally sourced ingredients to provide an experience of a lifetime that will call you back for more.
Bruno's Clubhouse Bistro located at the Golf Course is the perfect place to enjoy a nice cold beverage and afternoon snack, lunch or dinner. Menu items include Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer, hand crafted burgers, Artisan pizza's, and Peruvian Chef inspired dinner entrees.
Bottles and Bites is an outdoor gathering spot located adjacent to The Center under a large tent that offers beer, wine, spirits, a food truck and live music many evenings.
The Sweet Retreat offers sandwiches, fries, ice cream and milk shakes located next to the free arcade game room.
The late Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed golf course is perfect for the beginner, intermediate or advanced golfer. The golf carts are blue-tooth compatible and provide distances to the flag and a variety of other first class amenities for your round of golf.
Bridgewater Marina is onsite offering Kayak, Jet Ski and Boat Rentals. Ask host how to make reservations in advance to ensure your stay is packed with activities.
Mariners Landing is a picturesque lake community with more than 1,000 rolling acres and over 550 miles of shoreline to explore. Plus, an 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Sr. golf course, regional wineries, historical attractions, boutique shopping, fine dining, bars, and countless other reasons you will want to vacation here.

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend. Everything about the condo was very nice. The owner did a great job making the stay comfortable and convenient for us. The cabinet was stocked with coffee, creamer, etc. There was plenty of soap for the dishwasher and laundry — all the little things that let us get straight to relaxing and enjoying the incredible lake. We would definitely stay there again. I will also add that I have stayed at many short term rentals and have enjoyed many wonderful hosts. But Jim was probably the most responsive and communicative we have ever had. He really went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom unit! The space felt even bigger than the photos suggested, and being situated in the corner of the building made it incredibly quiet and peaceful. The decor had a charming Lakehouse theme, which instantly made us feel like we were on vacation.
The unit was impeccably clean and well-appointed, with obvious care taken by the owners to make it welcoming and comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touches and amenities provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners included towels, coffee, cooking tools which we used.
We stayed here with my husband and our toddler, and it was perfect for us. The unit could easily accommodate another family, thanks to the spacious layout. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
If you aren't familiar with Mariners Landing- there are a lot of amenities that come with renting this unit as a result- including a pool just outside the unit, a 1-minute walk to the lake, a beachfront area of the lake (also walkable), and a dock for boats. Then, either a short 10 min walk or 2 minute drive is a second pool with a kids waterslide, pickleball courts, a kids playground, a small cafe, and a nice gym for working out (all included in your stay). Mariners Landing is a resort that is staying up to date- things are constantly being improved here year after year (rather than other resort communities which sometimes show their age).

My family and I cannot stop raving about this property & the owner Jim. Jim and his wife are top notch, very respectful, very responsive and super accomodating. The property itself is 100% accurately described and the pictures do not do it justice. We brought our boat, loaded it up and enjoyed every bit of the lake and property. Jim offered, at every step of the trip, a lending hand and we were fortunate enough to meet him briefly. For the kiddos, they have so many activities to do on the property, pool, fishing, Kayaking, movie nights, fireplace, hot tub and an arcade. We will definitely be staying again and mark this as a go to for the future.
