Zendara Villas Canggu by Sandara

The property is stunning and in a very, very central location, so we did not even need to rent a scooter to get around Canggu. There was a gym literally next door that charged fair daily rates. The staff were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

The only thing my friend and I did not like was that the outdoor area was very shaded. This is the area by the pool. Some visitors may like this, but we would have preferred a shaded spot and a sunny spot to lounge in the sun on days when we were taking it easy.

It is clean, very well decorated and neatly kept

Liked interior, customer service (special thanks to Diva for usual support), liked the cat visitor that was staying with us! Overall I would recommend to stay if you want closer location to all shops and restaurants within walking distance.

There was little sun on swimming pool (most likely due to seasonal). Only one bathroom upstairs. Cat stole our food but it was still cute :)

The location is good.

The photos show it to be aesthetically beautiful but it’s one of the most impractical villas I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet seat was dirty when I arrived as was the sink. Half the lights didn’t work and the entire villa was quite dark. I think this is to give off a certain ambiance but it’s really not helpful. The air conditioning was too cold downstairs and too hot upstairs and the remotes to change the temperature didn’t work. The toilet seat was broken but got fixed the next day. The stairs are really dangerous so would advise anyone with mobility issues to avoid. The sink is at a weird height so the surrounding area gets wet. The pool isn’t private at all. The curtains are hard to close and when it rained there was rainwater in the villa. I wish there was better communication from Zendara about checking in and out. I had to ask rather than the information being available to me from the beginning. The WiFi was patchy and didn’t always work.
