Beautiful location. Silence.

We rented this house mainly for the pool, but our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the pool was green. When we wrote to the host, we received a nonchalant explanation that the water had turned green because of the heat, as if one only needs a pool in cold weather. We were also assured that someone would come to fix the problem and that the pool would be operational the next day (we had booked only two nights), which was clearly unrealistic, as removing algae takes several days. The host’s attitude came across as arrogant and unhelpful, and the situation significantly undermined our stay.
