Casa dos Ouriços

The owner of the apartment, Fernando, was a true Portuguese gentleman. He could not have been kinder or more helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean and very well equipped. There was wine, cake, milk and fruit juice for us on arrival which was a lovely and very welcome touch. It was about a 10 minute walk to the old town of Ponte de Lima and its restaurants and cafes. We would certainly stay here again.

At first we found the beds a bit hard and for me, uncomfortable, but then we discovered a mattress topper in the apartment which solved the problem. Great that someone thought of supplying this. We had unforeseen problems with the WiFi which didn't connect to the internet during our stay there, but we know it was a one-off problem which will soon be fixed. Though Fernando was great, the bookings manager Marta didn't communicate well. We sent two messages on the two days before we arrived but received no answer which didn't inspire us with confidence. But for all that we had a lovely few days here and would recommend it.

La tranquilidad, el entorno y el anfitrión Fernando, todo está en armonía. Un lugar para regresar.

Casa impecável e muita simpatia e amabilidade

Fantástico jardim e excelente localização. Ficamos como em casa 😍. O dono da casa Sr. Fernando é muito hospitaleiro e deu-nos muitas dicas.
