Wonderful

We loved this accommodation and it far exceeded our expectations. We even wanted to stay longer. To begin with, the journey to this accommodation is beautiful, passing through mountains surrounded by waterfalls. It's a very pretty area. The apartment is very well located in Glaris Süd, next to the river. The owners of the apartment are very friendly and respond immediately to any questions or requests you may have, which makes the trip very enjoyable and comfortable, especially when you are traveling from so far away and feel a little lost. We really felt at home here, and I am personally grateful to the accommodation. We have nothing but good things to say about the apartment. Everything is super clean, every detail is taken care of, and there are rules and instructions throughout the house in case you don't know how to use something. It has absolutely everything, even things we never imagined would be there. They even tell you to wear sandals that they provide to keep the place clean (which shows how clean and well-kept the place is). Every corner of the house is great: the bathroom is very clean and has everything you need, the kitchen has everything you need and more, the living room is very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bedroom and bed are very comfortable. The accommodation also has free private parking right outside the door. To check in, we just had to enter a code at a locker by the door, and the same for checking out (which was also very convenient). Finally, I'd like to highlight something we really liked and found original: the accommodation makes small handmade souvenirs for your home that you can buy during your stay. (I want to clarify another question I've seen in other reviews, which is that the apartment is a comfortable temperature, but you can adjust it with the radiators provided, for which the owners have included instructions for use). Perfect! Full recommendation!

The studio apartment is phenomenal, and the staff are friendly, available, and truly go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. It’s so well-equipped that there wasn’t a single thing I found myself missing. The design is beautiful, and the space is used incredibly efficiently—really impressive! Special praise goes to the bathroom, which includes separate body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as the kitchen, which has absolutely everything you need, from utensils to cookware and ingredients.

There is a strong smell—something you might need a bit of time to get used to, especially if you’re not someone who spends much time in cellars. However, the hosts genuinely did everything in their power to resolve the issue, which I truly appreciate.

War bereits das 2.x in der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung hat alles was man braucht. Sie ist SEHR sauber und geräumig. Küche wurde nicht genutzt, aber auch da hat es alles was man benötigt, wie ich in den Schränken gesehen habe. Die Lage ist super. Sehr ruhige Gegend. Preis Leistung ist voll in Ordnung. Hatte nicht den richtigen Schlüsselcode, aber der Besitzer kam zufällig gerade angefahren und hat sofort geholfen. Sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Beim 1.x (Weihnachtszeit) hat es etwas nach Heizöl gerochen. Mich persönlich hat es nicht gestört, da ich in der Unterkunft nur zum Schlafen war. Wie auch dieses Mal. Es gibt für mich nichts auszusetzen.

Eine Zumutung ohnegleichen

Es lohnt sich nach Braunwald zu fahren! Ab dem 1.1.25 kann man mit der Gästekarte u.a. gratis den ÖV im Kanton Glarus benutzen. Die Mitarbeiter im Tourist Büro sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ich liege nun krank im Bett. Und unser Hund hatte während des Aufenthaltes eine beidseitige Ohrenentzündung bekommen. Wir (3 Personen) haben noch nie so gefroren, und haben uns noch nie so unwohl in einer Unterkunft gefühlt! Es ist ein dunkles Kellerapartment ohne Tageslicht und Sonneneinstrahlung. Beleuchtet wird es mit Neonröhren. Ein Lichtschalter für alle Röhren. Es wurde versucht, die verdunkelten Fenster von aussen mit Luftpolsterfolie zu isolieren. Ein kalter Wind zog ständig in allen Ecken, und der Keller wurde nicht warm, da er überhaupt nicht isoliert ist! Wir schliefen mit Mützen und Jacken! Die Heizungen sind kaum lauwarm auf Stufe 5. Von den 2 Infrarotheizungen kann man nur 1 anschalten, sonst bricht das Stromnetz zusammen, und man steht erst einmal im Dunklen. Dann muss man einmal ums Haus, hoch zum Vermieter, der es wieder aktiviert (und hoffentlich zu Hause ist). Im Bad ist ein Heizlüfter. Ist dieser in Betrieb, plus eine Infrarotheizung, das Licht & der Wasserkocher, bricht das Stromnetz zusammen. Oder Wasserkocher & Mikrowelle & Licht geht auch nicht. Der Boden ist ein typischer, unebener Kellerboden mit Vertiefungen, Löchern. Deshalb gibt es wohl die Hausschuhe. Der Esstisch ist lackiert und klebrig. Die Gartenstühle zum Tisch sind tief, der Tisch dafür zu hoch. Der Fernseher ist nur für einen YouTube Kanal. Und, und, und.... Das Apartment wird wunderschön und mollig warm angepriesen, ist aber eine Mogelpackung! Oder eher eine Zumutung!!! Würden Sie in ihrem zugigen Keller Urlaub machen wollen?
