Lovely location, traditional house but needs better management
Lovely location. Beautiful waterfall within a few minutes walk. House had lots of space and was very clean.
We arrived at 11pm and the front entrance including steps and walkway was pitch black. The handrail on the steps was covered in splinters. Thankfully we had a torch with us. Beds were not made so we had to do it ourselves. 2 x lights not working so 1 bedroom was in darkness. We had to swap bulbs around from a lamp in order to see anything. Landing light was in darkness the whole stay. TV not working for the whole stay. For a winter visit I can imagine that the house would be nice and cosy. In August the bedrooms were very hot. This combined with a fairly noisy road sadly meant not very good sleep.
