Loved it!
We loved the view on the patio; even a glimpse of the Walensee. The house has everything that you need. Downstairs bedroom was very cool (great with hot weather). At first we didn't have hot water, but was fixed very quickly after contact with the tourist buro. The location was just perfect, beautiful surroundings and lots to do and see.
Insect screens would be great.

Location
Uneven stairs without railing from the ground to the entrance door on 1st floor with very poor lighting. Very old and worn out furniture with nonfunctional items like toaster and lamps.

Exceptional
Lovely setting, beautiful countryside and views of mountains. Many great walks close by. Very lovely chalet, we had four but could easily have six. Very cosy. Also, close to supermarkets (in Amden and Wassen) Even Zurich and the Lindt factory are within a 40-50 minute drive.

Location was super. In side of chalet is “mountain style” fun and well equipped for what we wanted. The living room and dinning rooms are great and furnished with charm and function. The whole house was very clean. I would recommend it for any visitor to Amden who wants a private accommodation for 3 couples. Or two couples and two sharing room. Direct access to mountain walks in summer and the ski piste in winter. (Chalet is on the piste, skiable to door) Plenty of parking at least 3 cars and close to bus stop to from amden dorf and avenbuhl ski area. The key pick up from key safe in village worked fine with clear email communication from the Amden tourist office.
The outside of the chalet would benefit from a bit of maintenance but this did not cause us any problems or concerns for our visit.

Im Großen und Ganzen tolle Umgebung mit toller Aussicht, jedoch nicht sicher für Haustiere und schmutzig
Die Lage war sehr schön und das Haus an sich auch.
Allerdings hat es an der Sauberkeit stark gemangelt. Die Schlafzimmer waren mit Teppichen ausgestattet, welche übel gerochen haben. Im Zimmer lagen tote Insekten rum, fremde Haare und künstliche Nägel. Zudem bezeichnet sich die Unterkunft als Haustierfreundlich, jedoch waren im ganzen Haus Rattenköder versteckt, die gefährlich für unser Haustier waren. Diese Rattenköder waren teilweise sogar angeknabbert und bröselig.
