The highlight of the weekend was the hippo watching we got literally from the front gate. Absolutely amazed at what a view we had. Will definitely book again just for that view. The house accommodated for everything we needed for the weekend.
The house wasn't very clean. It seemed to be locked up for a while before we got in. We had issues with cockroachs in the rooms and ants getting in to the food items. Also no hot water after 2 people showered, but this could be because we visited in Winter.

Despite arriving very late and having horrible drive, the owner, Carla, met us and handed over the keys. Her kindness and humor made us forget all about the negative experience on the road!
Absolutely nothing except that the weekend was too short.

The Villa was lovely and a beautiful family resort. The house is nice and modern, showers where great, the beds and pillows was very comfortable. The pool was great ( Just a little small but was good). The yard space for pets was amazing.
Everything was great just these small things will make a big difference.
: A washing machine is essential for long stays

: A oven in the kitchen is needed ( air fryer is to small to accommodate large quantity meals).
: Power went off and the inverter system made noise the entire night. We did not sleep and I tried to get a hold off the host at night but was unsuccessful only the next morning I tried again twice then I got help. ( it would off been nice if the inverter room was sound proof as it is located in the main bedroom and makes noise all the time.
: The gardener entered the yard and stood at the braai area which was shocking to my wife and child, only when my god starting barking then I noticed there was someone in the yard. It would of been nice if we was notified by the host that the gardener will be coming because we had our dog opened which could of ended bad for the gardener and the pet could of run out of the yard and we wouldn't of been aware...
: It would be nice if a gate motor could be installed for convince rather than jumping off the vehicle mainly on rainy days.
