The location was perfect. Everything was a nice walk away from our stay: shops, restaurants, landmarks. But the highlight of the place is the owner. Probably the kindest man in Samarkand, he gave us recommendations on what to visit, where to eat, and always had tea, coffee, and melon for us. An extra point for having such a nice somsa place across the street from the hotel.

The owner, Hassan, was incredibly attentive to his guests! Whenever I was on the terrace, he would bring out snacks, fruit, etc. Communicating in English can be a bit difficult, but Murodjon,the owner's son, is fluent in English so I had no issue. One of the best place I've stayed!
