    Staff all friendly and helpful....special thanks to Jurgen. Food was very good and freshly prepared. Rooms are clean and equipped with basic needs although I would suggest to consider providing a kettle, cups etc. Pankabay is serene and very peaceful. A short walk (but factor in a rather steep hill) will take you to the beautiful School Beach. There are several small cafés and restaurants along the way too. Pankabay Resort represents good value for money in rustic natural surroundings....we thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay.

    Ich hatte eine großartige Zeit im Pankabay Resort! Der Service war außergewöhnlich – die Besitzer sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Schon vor Ankunft habe ich via WhatsApp Kontakt aufnehmen können und alle Fragen wurden mir zügig beantwortet und das obwohl der Mann in Deutschland und es dort sehr früh war. Trotz eines Buchungsfehlers durch Agoda habe ich ein besseres Bungalow ohne Aufpreis bekommen, so nett!! Auch als ich mein Bootsticket selbst online gebucht habe, haben sie sich um alles gekümmert, sogar meinen Rucksack extra über die Insel gebracht. Das Essen ist köstlich, die Atmosphäre familiär und entspannt. Das einzige „Problem“ sind die Sandfliegen und das etwas dreckige Wasser im Meer als auch aus dem Wasserhahn, Ende der Saison also lang kein Regen mehr. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen Aufenthalt!

    Cute bungalow on the beach, staff were real friendly and helpful. Food was lovely at the restaurant, and other local restaurants a short walk away. The beach here has a bit of sand but is mainly rocky. 15/20 minute walk up hill to the idyllic sandy school beach. Island is lush, beautiful, and super chill and quiet. One thing I will say so that potential guests are aware as it was not something we read in any other reviews: you are very much in with nature here, which is great, but maybe take earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, and be prepared for lots of gecko poo!
