Terrace of Peace view over the Ocean

The location is excellent and easy to get to from the airport by taxi for 20Euros max. Very convenient for a good number of bars and restaurants all within a short walk. A slightly longer walk to Los Abrigos along the recently constructed boardwalk is very nice with some good fish restaurants there. Local service bus stop is 5 minutes walk away. The apartment shares a very nice swimming pool which is never crowded, infact there are 2 pools that you can choose from. There is a very good cafe right on the sea front, El Nautico, which does great breakfasts and snacks.

The apartment is very spacious with an excellent outdoor terrace area over looking the sea. As noted in a previous review, there are no sun loungers there, but the 4 chairs do have new comfy cushions on them. The rattan couch is quite old with no cushions and therefore uncomfortable. The outside space hasn’t really been maximised to its true potential. Inside the kitchen is well equipped and the shower tray, noted on previous review, has been replaced and the shower works well. The bed I didn’t find very comfy and it seemed a fairly cheap one, but maybe it suits others better than me. The living area, couch etc were all fine.

Appartamento situato in posizione strategica vicino al mare ma anche al campo da golf, e soprattutto molto spazioso. Un complesso tranquillo con una bella piscina . La vista è impagabile ! È stato bello poter fare colazione e cenare guardando il mare . Mi sarebbe piaciuto fermarmi di più, sicuramente un posto in cui tornerei

It’s a shame that this apartment hasn’t been maintained to an acceptable standard. Although it was cleaned for us arriving the standard of the facilities and the overall environment looked unkept and grubby. The shower room needs to be completely renewed. One of the shower doors was missing and a shower curtain was used to cover the gap but it was very dirty and we had to ask for the shower curtain to be replaced, which in fairness the management company did quickly. The shower base was discoloured and looked dirty, we just couldn’t get it clean. The kitchen was in the same state with cooker, worktops and cupboards so old and worn again it felt that we couldn’t get them clean no matter how hard we tried. The mattress was stained and bedding and towels extremely poor quality. Now something positive. Mania from the management company was very good. She responded to queries quickly and tried to address issues when she could, although most were beyond her control. The apartment is in a great location close to many amenities and public transport. It also has a great terrace (hence the name). However, there were similar issues in the terrace. There was a table which was old and badly stained and beyond saving. It was also too big. The clothes dryer was needing replaced. The rattan furniture was unusable because there were no cushions for it. What’s the use of having it if it’s too uncomfortable to sit on. A smaller table and 2 comfortable loungers would have made the terrace area much more useable. It’s such a shame as the apartment has great potential but until it is completely renovated I could not recommend it.
